I’m Ebru, a seamstress living in the lovely seaside town of Shoreham-by-Sea.
Welcome to my little corner of stitches and smiles!
Sewing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. After spending many years working as a Customer Relations Director in the advertising sector in my home country, Turkey, and hosting my own shows as a radio presenter on various national radio stations (yes, I used to chat away on air!),
When I retired and set sail for a new chapter in England, I knew it was finally time to turn my lifelong love for sewing into my full-time job.
And here I am, doing what I adore every single day!

I was recommended Enru to alter my Kimono as having seen her work i was very impressed.
We have a lovely consultation where we discussed what i wanted and how she could achieve this and off she went.

So very happy that I chose Ebru for my wedding dress alterations. Thanks to her talent and expertise I felt the most beautiful than I ever have on my wedding day. She had less than three weeks for multiple alterations as this was a quick elopement abroad. Ebru was very reasonably priced for her skill and was incredibly helpful when deciding on customisations. I had a wrist loop added, a little belt sewn in and was helped to take measurements for the bow on the back of my dress! I also had alterations done on my bodysuit undergarments. I couldn’t have done this process in a short amount of time without her. We had weekly fittings which was exciting to see the progress. Truly grateful and will definitely be back for other clothing projects for sure! Highly recommend!
