Sewing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. After spending many years working as a Customer Relations Director in the advertising sector in my home country, Turkey, and hosting my own shows as a radio presenter on various national radio stations (yes, I used to chat away on air!), I decided to follow my heart. When I retired and set sail for a new chapter in England, I knew it was finally time to turn my lifelong love for sewing into my full-time job.
And here I am, doing what I adore every single day!

I work from my cosy home studio, and when you step through my door, you’re not just a customer—you’re my guest. I’ll pop the kettle on, we’ll have a natter, and together we’ll find the perfect solution to bring your garments back to life. Whether it’s a little repair, a tricky alteration, or the delicate magic of adjusting a wedding dress for your big day, I treat every piece with the same love and care as if it were my own.
Oh, and brides-to-be—I see you! There’s something truly special about being part of your journey to that once-in-a-lifetime day. Your excitement is contagious, and I feel honoured to play a small role in making you feel radiant in your dream dress.

I’m meticulous with my sewing (a bit of a perfectionist, I must admit!), but more importantly, I care. I want you to leave with a smile, feeling confident and happy in your clothes.

I also have a little side project with my sister called Sista&Sista Made. We turn old, forgotten fabrics into new, lovely things. We reuse, recycle, upcycle—turning forgotten fabrics into treasures, one stitch at a time, with a sprinkle of creativity and a lot of love! We craft bags, cushions, eco-printed textile products, and accessories with care and passion. It’s our bit to help the planet and sprinkle a bit of creativity into the world.
